In this month of November 2014, rainy periods have been especially intense in the Var
Heavy rainfall has hit Saint Tropez and its neighbouring cities (Sainte-Maxime, Cogolin, Grimaud, Gassin, La Croix-Valmer, Ramatuelle etc…).
Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds have caused significant damage in our department. The swell created by the uncontrollable sea has battered the whole of the coastline, dangerously increasing the sea level above the roads. Faced with this hard-hitting weather episode, the inhabitants of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez got together to offer their help to the most affected people. Some of them have had the courage to take photos of the flooded roads.
