Sustainability of our products and continuous improvement of our CSR approach
Be part of this ecological and social adventure with us.
We are proud to announce that our CSR approach is not just a promise. We are already almost there, thanks to initiatives taken since 2020. The true ecological approach involves several concrete actions:
• Vegetable Tanning Leather: We prefer the use of vegetable-tanned skins and leathers, sourced from the recycling of skins in the food industry, themselves from pasture farming (exclusively from France, Spain, and Italy). Nothing is more natural and ecological for the making of our products.
The vegetable tanning we perform on all our leather ranges is a tanning without heavy metals that limits the risk of allergies. More respectful of our planet, it is done with vegetable tannins (extracts from bark and leaves, for example). Our leather suppliers are all certified ‘Leather Working Group’.
• On-Demand Production: To avoid unsold items, overstock, and waste, we have adopted an “on-demand” approach. This means that our products are made according to your actual needs, minimizing the impact on the environment.
• Artisans and Collaborators at the Center of the Project : All actors in the Noreve project are aware of the CSR approach. Whether it’s decision-making, responsible purchasing, or combating waste, everything is done to optimize production methods for more responsible production in a socially respectful environment for the rights of each collaborator.
• Quality and Customization: We believe in quality that translates into custom, handmade craftsmanship, thus eliminating industrial production. Our experienced leather craftsmen bring their expertise and dedication to every stage of the manufacturing process, ensuring perfect finishes. Excellent quality of materials and finishes extends the lifespan of products, reducing waste and the production of new items.
• Vegan ‘Éthique’ Range: In 2020, we launched a Vegan range called “Éthique”. Manufactured by one of the leading producers in the market, this texture of Vietnamese origin is certified according to ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 standards, thus limiting our ecological footprint. • Durability : Committed to sustainability, Maison Noreve does everything to create items that combine timeless elegance and premium quality. The design of our items is meticulously designed to resist fleeting trends, offering creations that transcend seasons. Each piece is carefully designed, favoring the highest quality materials, ensuring long-term durability. Furthermore, the rigorous selection of raw materials, such as superior quality leathers, testifies to our commitment to sustainability.
• CSR Approach: In a continuous improvement approach, Noreve conducted an ESG audit and a carbon assessment (scopes 1, 2, and 3) in 2023 with the consulting firm Entracte). This is a first step allowing us to quantify our impacts to work towards an ever greener and more virtuous approach. At Noreve, CSR commitment is an ongoing evolution.
