Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2015 Regatta from 26 September to 4 October 2015
A week of regattas in the most beautiful harbour in the world
On 26 September the starting flag will be dropped on the 17th edition of the Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez regatta. This gathering, born purely by chance, is now a rendezvous organised with passion by the Saint-Tropez Yacht Club. It has changed over the years to become theregatta in the nautical calendar to do, and be seen doing. A major event for the little Tropezien harbour.
On land and sea, more than 4,000 crew members will come together for the 2015 edition: a week’s programme of sport and festivities in the coppery light of early autumn. Heir to the Club 55 Cup and the la Nioulargue races, the regatta brings together over 300 of the world’s most extraordinary modern sailing boats alongside the most beautiful traditional yachts, a mix of generations in the pure tradition of the Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez.
Hundred-year-old yachts and modern boats will once again tack up and down the foaming rollers in the crystal clear waters of the bay with the same enthusiasm this year as in the past: in doing so they bring to life and epitomise the spirit of this historic event. As if by magic, the harbour with its coloured façades will come to life with the dancing sails and the rattling of rigging against masts in the wind. An interlude between present and past: governed by the rhythm of the races and the processions of crew members, punctuated by the inevitable games of pétanque. A moment of sharing which is cherished by Tropeziens and sailors from around the world, fuelled by a passion and love for the one thing they have in common: the sea.
You can find Noreve’s gold and silver bracelets at the Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez Village on the stand of the jeweller Schaming.
